Special opening hours

  • The above opening periods refer to the period from 1 June to 31 August.
  • Until 31 May the opening hours are from 6 am to 8 pm and from 1 September from 6 am to 7:30 pm.
  • Last entry is 45 minutes before the night closure in each case.
  • The Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe Visitor Centre is open daily from 10:00 to 17:00, all other exhibitions and shops are open from 9:00 to 17:00.

Notes

  • Before setting off, you should check online whether the pass road can possibly only be used with winter tyres or snow chains.
